In some cases a simple edit isn't quite enough. Proof Edge offers developmental editing to answer this need. Simply put, developmental editing combines proofreading and editing with an element of creative guidance and education about the editing process. In addition to marking out and/or swapping selected words or sentences, I will insert helpful comments and tips explaining these changes and how to avoid the same mistakes in the future. I can also offer suggestions about how to strengthen the delivery of your business proposal or thesis, or how to strengthen the plot and dialogue of your manuscript.
